Merry Christmas! Everyone at Mustang Mission wishes you a very Merry Christmas! We pray that you remember the greatest gift of all - Jesus Christ, who is why we celebrate this special time. May God bless you abundantly during this holiday season. Thank you so much for your support and kindness throughout this past year. I’m looking forward to 2023! ~Erin, Alamo, + Ember “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS:  for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

There are many indescribable feelings that occur as a horse trainer and this is one of them - being able to trust a once wild horse to stay with you without any physical attachments (ropes) and with no surrounding boundaries.

A couple of days ago, the generous couple that donated these fencing materials dropped them off at our property.  We're so grateful for their incredible donation and kindness!  This is all of the fencing that we need to expand the horses' field and replace the current temporary fencing.  We look forward to getting everything set up in just a few months!  There's a lot of excitement building up behind the scenes! *A huge thank you to my family for helping unload and get everything set up!

It is always a special moment when a mustang allows you to approach them for the first time while they're laying down.  Ember is the "busy" one, so she usually pops right up to see me, but this time she let me sit beside her. For those of you wondering, it is very common for horses to lie down and it's completely normal!
